99th Luna County Old Timers’ Reunion
Attendance records were set at the 2012 Luna County Old Timers’ Reunion held on April 21, 2012. Each year, during Old Timers’ weekend, various Deming High School class reunions are held and those that are over 30 years of age usually attend the annual dinner and dance. Fancy Fixins’ owned by Connie Johnson and Faye Hyatt do an exceptional job preparing and serving the best roast beef dinner in the country. Of course, they’ve got Connie’s hubby, Bill, and Faye’s hubby, Jim, along with their children and grand-children to help.
This year Neal and Byron couldn’t make it and Bucky Allred, Dee Ford, Ty Martin and Roy Garcia helped me and Mark with the dance music. We are already looking forward to next April when we do it again.
