Denim & Diamonds
The annual “Denim & Diamonds” fundraising event for the Copper Cowbelles of Grant County, New Mexico was held October 24, 2009 in Silver City, New Mexico. Copper Cowbelles president, Kim Clark and the rest of the ladies always do a great job. The event continues to grow every year and this year, there were over 400 in attendance.
The “Denim & Diamonds” event is held annually and in 2010 the date is set for October 23rd at The Flame in Silver City, NM.
The Delk Family has been associated with the Copper Cowbelles since they were organized in the early 1970’s. The very first Copper Cowbelles fundraiser was held at Mimbres, New Mexico at the Mimbres Roundup Community Hall and Forrest Delk and His Gully Jumpers provided the music. It has been a long and beneficial relationship and The Delk Band is happy to be a part of this great tradition.
