The 2012 Cowboys for Cancer Research (C4CR) Dinner, Dance and Silent Auction was held at the Las Cruces Convention Center. Once again the event was sold out and over 700 supporters of C4CR (www.cowboysforcancerresearch.org) were in attendance.
Special guest for the evening was Baxter Black. He captured the crowd for 45 minutes….what a pleasure is was to have him at the C4CR event. The Delk Band was again honored to play for the dance at this great event. A large segment of the crowd came to dance and dance they did. The large dance floor was full almost every dance.
We applaud the C4CR committee. They do a tremendous job every year to assure that Cowboys For Cancer Research fundraising activities allow them to retain the position as the largest and most significant contributing organization to the University of New Mexico Cancer Research & Treatment Center in Albuquerque, NM.
